Un Homme est Mort - Michel Legrand (1972)

In 1972 when he composed the soundtrack to the nervous and stylized thriller Jacques Deray "A Man Is Dead", Michel Legrand is probably no idea that the 45 towers on which are engraved the two themes of the film is going to become much more Later one of the most coveted rare earth groove discs. A master of funk and music of deranged movie shown on any wanted list respectable piece. To understand the force of attraction of this little piece of vinyl just put the needle on the first side and wait feverishly raw pulsating opening track which take the form of a strange hypnotic mantra firmly intermingling 2 lines repetitive played by an unchanging bass and wah-wah guitar murders. After 20 seconds seem like an eternity the song explodes and releases under the simultaneous assaults battery, a second guitar and a Hammond organ masterful.
